Search Encarta
When you type a keyword or question in the Search Encarta box, the search results may include encyclopedia articles, audio clips, photos, maps, and tables.
  1. On the Encarta home page, type one or more keywords in the Search Encarta box, and then click Go.
    For example, enter the word whales to find general information about whales, or enter Blue Whales to narrow your search.
  2. On the search results page, click a link to open an article, Web link, or other information related to your search word.

Note

Encarta searches are not Boolean (logical) searches. Words like and, not, and or are ignored. When you search for multiple words, the search results include matches that contain all of the search words.
