Customize the MSN Toolbar

You can choose which toolbar buttons are displayed, and whether to display or hide button text. Additional selections can be made for the Highlight Viewer, Pop-up Guard, and Auto Update.

On the MSN Toolbar, click , and then click Toolbar Options.
On the Toolbar Buttons, Search Settings, Feedback, and Auto Update tabs, select your preferences.

Notes

To return the MSN Toolbar options to their original settings, click Restore Defaults on the Toolbar Buttons and Search Settings tabs.
Auto Update runs a process in the background that periodically checks the current version and determines whether an update is required. This is a common practice for software that is frequently updated.
