With Pop-up Guard turned on, you can allow a one-time pop-up window to open,
or you add a site to your website allow list.
You can modify the list at any time.
To get the most from Pop-up Guard, make sure its button appears in the MSN Toolbar.
If the Pop-up Guard button does not appear in the MSN Toolbar, click , and then select Toolbar Options.
On the Toolbar Buttons tab, select the check box next to Pop-up Guard.
Turn the Pop-up Guard on and off by clicking its button on the MSN Toolbar.
When the button label reads Pop-ups Blocked, the Pop-up Guard is turned on and most pop-up windows are blocked. The number of pop-up windows that have been blocked is shown in parentheses on the button.
When the button label reads Pop-ups Allowed, the Pop-up Guard is turned off, allowing all pop-up windows to appear.
After you link to a page, hold down the CTRL key and press the F5 key (to refresh the page). A single pop-up window for the link will be allowed.
To allow any pop-up windows on a site you visit often, add that site to your allow list.
To restore pop-up blocking to any site on the Pop-up Guard allow list,
simply remove the site from the list.
On the MSN Toolbar, click , and then click Toolbar Options.
Click Pop-up Guard Settings, and then click the Allow List tab.
Under Web page addresses, click the addresses that you want to remove from the allow list, and then click Delete Selected Items.

Pop-up Guard button will flash with a symbol,

depending on the settings you have selected.
